Kathleen Hoffman-Hart


Kathleen is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with a Master’s Degree from The State University at Albany in 1994. Kathleen also is a practicing Licensed Massage Therapist and holds a Certificate of Massage Therapy from The Center for Natural Wellness 2002.

Kathleen’s experience in the mental health field includes 20 plus years working with the adult population in both inpatient and outpatient settings. Of particular interest is the area of treating PTSD/trauma from childhood or due to one’s occupation or single event traumas such as car accidents. Kathleen knows the importance of the connection of both mind and body in the healing of traumatic issues. Hence a “progressive” approach is used in sessions which may include therapies such as, Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), movement and energy therapies.

Kathleen approaches her clients with compassion, optimism and reverence to both mind and body in helping individuals along their healing journey.
